Day Of The Volkswagen 2009

Our first car show, exhibiting a car. After weeks of cleaning up my little white rocket Piglet it came up pretty good, especially given the thrashing this poor little car got in the dirt up at Monarto :)

It's funny to look back at this all these years later. The blue mk1 parked next to me belonged to my now good mate Brian, this event was the first time I met him. We've exchanged countless parts over the years helping each other out, and very happy to now call that car mine, he did such a great job building it!

We had a fun day, met loads of new VW people, and had an awesome introduction to the greater Volkswagen community here in South Australia.
